Non-Competition Agreement

A Non-Competition Agreement, sometimes called a non-compete, prevents individuals such as employees or owners of a company from leaving the company and subsequently competing with their former company. It should be noted that Non-Competition Agreements and non-competition clauses have varying degrees of enforceability from state to state, and in some states are essentially unenforceable.
